The Chisinau-Antalya flight, operated by the national airline Air Moldova, took off with a delay of six hours on July 5. The flight to Istanbul is also by about 11 hours late.
Contacted by IPN, Air Moldova spokesman Victor Chironda explained that the aircraft flying on the two regular routes is undergoing overhaul. The Chisinau- Istanbul flight was postponed until 1am and the passengers were accommodated at a hotel.
