FLYONE Armenia on the list of companies banned in Moldova

FLYONE Armenia, a subsidiary of FLYONE of the Republic of Moldova, is on the list of air carriers subject to an operating ban on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. The draft order of Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, approving the list has been published for public consultations, IPN reports.

According to the draft, the operating restrictions consist in prohibiting the use of a certain aircraft or certain types of aircraft mentioned in the restrictions list.

The air carriers concerned in the draft subject to consultations are from: Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Angola, Armenia, Congo Brazaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Libya, Nepal, Russia, Sudan.

With the elaboration of the national draft in its current wording, the aim is to advance the degree of compatibility in line with the amendments adopted at the level of the European Union act, since the initial transposition of its provisions at the national level by the 2018 order. According to MIDR, at EU level these lists are updated every half a year.

The draft was prepared by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development at the proposal of the Civil Aviation Authority.
