Four persons accused of swindle and of causing considerable damage to the central universal store “Unic” will appear before judges. The four came into possession of an area of 290 square meters inside the store based on a false court decision. They face up to 15 years in jail, IPN reports, quoting the Prosecutor General’s Office.
It was established that during 2013 – 2016, no such court decision had been passed, while the judge who allegedly signed the decision left the legal system long before. Thus, damage of about 3 million lei was caused to the state-run store “Unic”. During the investigation, the damage caused by appropriating 290 square meters was compensated.
The defendants are aged between 38 and 72. Three of them are related.
