The Embassy of Germany had announced the opening of the call for projects within the international climate financing program for promoting sectoral decarbonization Mitigation Action Facility. The focus will be on the sectors with the highest greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, IPN reports.
The program supports ambitious projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the energy (renewables, storage, energy efficiency), industry and transport (e-mobility, loading systems) sectors with a funding volume of up to €25 million and a duration of up to 5.5 years.
Project ideas can be submitted online as concepts until February 29, 2024 through the open application platform. General information about the Call for Proposals 2024 can be accessed on the Mitigation Action Facility page.
