Unaffiliated MP Mihai Godea called upon Prime Minister Vlad Filat to come to Parliament and present a report as things in economy, agriculture, healthcare and other sectors should be clarified, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“During the last few weeks, we saw that the Government faces problems. There are interests that prevent the reforms from being implemented and hinder making progress on the path to European integration. In this connection, I suggest that the Government should present a report next week because there are many questions to the Premier and ministers. I propose hearing the report next Thursday to see what’s going on there,” said Mihai Godea.
The lawmaker also called on his colleagues to sign the statement on personal interests, put forward by civil society.
Speaker Marian Lupu said that under the law the Government must indeed present a report. He suggested that the Parliament’s Standing Bureau should discuss the issue and decide when the report can be heard.
