The legislative body ratified a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government and the United Nations, which involves the granting of the license for the goTravel AIR software. The digital solution will be used free of charge for the first two years, IPN reports.
The goTravel AIR software solution is fully prepared for connection to essential services, such as INTERPOL i27/7 or PISCES, as well as with other platforms that were already implemented by international partner authorities.
Starting in 2027, the annual fee for using goTravel AIR will be $50,000, and the amount will cover the licensing, maintenance, and technical support of the system.
The advance passenger information system and passenger name record data in the field of air transport will be managed by the Advance Passenger Information Unit of the General Border Police Inspectorate.
