Government offers more payouts to April 2009 victims

Over 100 civilians and law enforcement officers who were hurt or otherwise affected in the April 2009 violence will receive one-off payments from the Government, Info-Prim Neo reports. For this purpose, the Government allocated from its Reserve Fund the amount of 411,000 lei. The payments will range from 3,000 to 7,000 lei depending on the degree of the injury or damage suffered. The payments are offered based on applications submitted to the governmental commission created for this purpose in April 2010. Earlier the Government also offered such compensations to the April 2009 victims.
