The Government decided to increase the performance scholarships for students of national boarding school-lyceums of arts and for fourth-ninth graders of the National College of Choreography. Thus, the performance scholarships will be 305 to 440 lei, while the special scholarship will be 460 lei. The scholarships will be recalculated starting with March 1, 2016.
The executive also approved amendments and supplements to a previous Government decision concerning scholarships for students of higher and technical vocational education institutions and differentiated scholarship for secondary technical professional education institutions. This type of scholarships will be raised to 460 lei, up from 330 lei at present.
The necessary financial sources were envisioned in the 2016 state budget law.
