The state social allowances from April 1 rose by 75 lei on average, while the care, accompanying and supervision benefits – by 98.5 lei. The recipients will receive the higher benefits in May, IPN reports.
In a communiqué, the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family informs that owing to the heavy workload related to the implementation of the new mechanism, including for pensions, the National House of Social Insurance will not manage to calculate the new benefits in April.
The increased benefits will start to be paid in May, when those entitled will also receive the increase for April.
