Famous chemist Tudor Lupascu, who is an associated member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, became the winner of the annual Government’s award “Most appreciated inventor of 2015”. The laureate, who is also a Doctor Habilitate, a professor and the director of the Academy’s Chemistry Institute, will receive 10,000 lei in award, IPN reports.
The decision to confer the award on Tudor Lupascu was taken by an expert jury in the last international specialized exhibition “Infoinvent”. This is awarded for the series of inventions “Technologies for obtaining active coal from local raw material”.
