Irregularities identified at 14 drugstores

Anticorruption officers discovered a number of irregularities at 14 drugstores. Eleven of them violated the trading rules and the method of determining the prices of medications, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime. Four of the 14 drugstores operate in Chisinau, three in Soroca and by one in other towns. Half of them were fined up to 1,000 lei. Decisions are to be taken in relation to the rest. So far, inspections have been carried out at 200 pharmaceutical companies. The anticorruption officers check how they adjusted the prices to those included in the National Catalog of Prices.
