Iurie Bucinschi appointed as Social Protection Deputy Minister

The former ad-interim head of the Chisinau City Council’s Department of Health, Iurie Bucinschi, was appointed Wednesday by the Government as Deputy Minister of Social Protection, Family and Child. He left the post in the City Council after the mayor chose a new head of the health department on political criteria. Also on Wednesday the Government appointed Sergiu Tatarov as Deputy Minister of Local Public Administration. Until present he chaired the Prime Minister’s expert group on matters of central administration reform. The Guvernment also approved the dismissal of Viorelia Batranac from the office the Deputy Minister of Education and Youth in connection with her recent appointment as presidential advisor.
