The Ministry of Justice has launched a systematized information platform of all the categories of legal acts adopted by the public authorities. Thus, each citizen will be able to look for the necessary documents on legis.md, IPN reports.

The State Register of Legal Acts is an engine for searching documents by key words, their number or the signing date.  Furthermore, each searched for document will contain the number of modifications made to it, the date and year when these were made. “We aimed to work out an informant application in a simplified format for looking for all the normative documents of Moldova, starting with those of 1990. We compiled this register in order to allow the people to have free access to normative documents,” said Minister of Justice Vladimir Cebotari.

The website legis.md contains a link that the visitors can use to write objections and suggestions. The register will be updated daily so that it contains the latest normative documents adopted and modified. “These acts can be printed directly from the website. They can be also viewed and saved in PDF format. The whole document and parts of it can be now copied,” explained the director of the Ministry’s Legal Information Center Constantin Bragoi.

Another detail is that the register shows which parts of the document were amended, abrogated, declared unconstitutional or suspended.
