Representatives of the U.S. company Kroll will arrive in Chisinau on September 16, Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet announced in the program “In Depth” on PRO TV Chisinau channel, quoted by IPN.
According to the Premier, the Government of Moldova will discuss the second round of investigations into the banking frauds and the prices of the provided services with the Kroll experts. “We will discuss directly with those from Kroll and will negotiate the prices. I think namely the representatives of Kroll should continue the investigation into the thefts committed in the banking system as they already know the state of affairs,” he said
Valeriu Strelet stated that if an agreement with Kroll is reached, the company will need at least half a year for investigations. “For us, the most important thing is to find out where the stolen money is and the Kroll experts can help us recover it. Institutions of our state will be also involved in this process,” he said.
Kroll earlier asked 60% of the sum that is to be recovered.
