The land tax that must be mandatorily transferred to the local budget by private individuals and legal entities for owning and using land can be paid online through the governmental service for electronic payments Mpay, IPN reports.
According to the Electronic Governance Agency, to pay the land tax the person must access the website https://mpay.gov.md/Services/Service/FUN01, introduce the type of tax and other required data in the form, finish the order and make the payment.
On the electronic payments portal mpay.gov.md, the land tax is classed into five categories, namely the tax on agricultural land, except for farmsteads, tax on agricultural land of farmsteads, tax on land used for other purposes than agricultural one, land tax collected from private individuals and land tax on pasture and meadow.
The same service can be used to pay online the tax on the transfer or lease out of real estate.
