Last candidates for Chisinau mayoralty and councilors registered

The Chisinau district electoral council on May 10 registered the last candidates for mayor general of Chisinau and for municipal councilors. The council also agreed to set up 300 electoral offices in Chisinau municipality. They will have seven to eleven members, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The council approved the registration of Mihai Godea as contender for the mayoralty of Chisinau and the withdrawal of the PLDM's candidate for mayor Victor Bodiu.
Thus, the ballot for the mayoralty of Chisinau will include 14 candidates. They are:
1. Sergiu Coropceanu (the Social Democratic Party)
2. Radu Busila (the Christian Democratic People's Party)
3. Valentin Krylov (the Party of Socialists of Moldova “Patria Rodina”)
4. Oleg Onishchenko (the political party “Our Home Moldova”)
5. Igor Dodon (the Communist Party of Moldova)
6. Valerii Klimenko (the sociopolitical movement “Ravnopravie”)
7. Vitalia Pavlichenko (the National Liberal Party)
8. Maia Laguta (Moldova's Patriots Party)
9. Valentina Buliga (the Democratic Party)
10. Valeriu Plesca (the electoral bloc “Third Force”)
11. Mihail Manoli (the Democratic People's Party of Moldova)
12. Marcel Darie (the Party for Law and Justice)
13. Dorin Chirtoaca (the Liberal Party)
14. Mihai Godea (independent)
There were also registered the last candidates for Chisinau councilors. Thirty-three independent candidates and parties will compete for seats on the Chisinau Municipal Council. They are:
