The Constitutional Court ruled in favor of the legislative body, which adopted a law whereby the social benefits for servicemen, police officers, judges and officers of the Security and Information Service were cut. The Court pronounced on the constitutionality of the given law at the request of the Communist lawmakers, Info-Prim Neo reports. The law modifies the size of a number of social benefits, namely the death benefit for servicemen, personnel of the command corps, troops of the internal affairs bodies, judges and officers of the Security and Information Service. It also changes the status of the employees of the apparatus of the Supreme Council of Magistrates. The Communist MPs consider the given legislative amendments groundlessly diminished the social guarantees and protection of the given persons. The amendments were passed on March 26 this year.
