The family with a three-month-old baby remains hospitalized. These details were provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry, the minibus, which was registered in the Republic of Moldova, was traveling from Poland. While on a road in Cluj County, the vehicle reportedly veered into the opposite lane and collided with a truck.

The Ministry also noted that the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Bucharest is in direct contact with the victims of the tragic accident as well as with the relevant Romanian authorities. Additionally, the diplomatic mission is prepared to offer consular assistance upon request and will intervene, as needed, to provide available support.

The accident occurred this morning around 06:00 on DN1C, near the Cluj locality of Catcau.
