President Maia Sandu has decorated Josep Borrell with the "Order of Honor", IPN reports.
The distinction was conferred to the former Vice-President of the European Commission and EU High Representative for European Affairs and Security Policy for his consistent support of the European path of the Republic of Moldova and its efforts to strengthen national security, as well as for promoting the interests of the Republic of Moldova within the European institutions.
The decree of the Head of State was published in today's edition of the Official Monitor.
