A young man from Calarasi was sentenced to eight years and a half in jail for stabbing to death a man who owned money to him, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office, the offender came to the victim’s house to recover his money. He stabbed the man in the yard. The victim died.
The young man was arrested by the police when he was going to Orhei district. Recently, he was convicted. The sentence can be appealed to a higher court. Earlier, the culprit served time in prison in Russia.
