A man aged 60 died from carbon monoxide poisoning in an apartment fire in Balti city. The causes of the fire haven’t been yet found out, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the firemen were called out to Dostoevschi St. Two firefighting vehicles travelled to the scene and extinguished the fire in a first-floor apartment situated in a two-story building.
Owing to the dense smoke, three minors had to be evacuated with the help of a ladder. No one needed medical care.
