Man suffers serious traumas when falling from height

A 40-year-old man was taken to the reanimatology section of the Emergency Hospital with serious injuries that he received when he fell from a two-meter wall last night, Info-Prim Neo reports. Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Maria Shamatailo said the man fell not far from a filling station located on the road going from Chisinau to Straseni. He suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma and a fracture of the skull base. A woman aged 21 from Anenii-Noi district was rushed to the Emergency Hospital with severe traumas after she was involved in a motorcycle accident on Uzinelor St in Chisinau. She was traveling on a motorcycle that was driven by her cousin. The vehicle crashed into a car and the woman was thrown onto the asphalt. The driver received minor injures. On September 15, the Chisinau ambulance teams dealt with 757 emergencies, including 70 cases of acute viral infection, 82 cases of trauma, six strokes and 22 deliveries.
