Memorial tablet to Mihai Dolgan to be fixed up in Chisinau

A memorial tablet to honor the late composer and singer Mihai Dolgan will be placed on the wall of his house on Stefan cel Mare Boulevard in Chisinau, after the specialized municipal commission on Friday approved a decision in this respect, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Chisinau Deputy Mayor Nistor Grozavu, the expenses involved will be covered by the municipal budget if the City Council allocates the needed 30,000-40,000 lei. “Maybe we will look for sponsors. Anyhow, this artist deserves a tablet financed by the municipality”, said Grozavu. Another tablet will be placed to commemorate Academician Nicolae Garbalau, who authored and co-authored over 350 scientific publications. The tablet will be fixed up on the wall of the Moldovan Academy of Sciences and will be sponsored by his pupils.
