A specialist of the Administrative-Military Section of Floresti district was fined 45,000 lei for traffic of influence, IPN reports.
According to the Nord Service of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office, the culprit asked for 7,500 lei from a young man for influencing members of the recruitment - drafting commission to allow him not to do the military service until he turned 27.
The 33-year-old functionary was arrested after he took the money. The Floresti Court found him guilty and, besides fining him 45,000 lei, also banned him from holding public posts for a period of up to three years.
The sentence is not yet definitive.
