Minibus registered in Moldova involved in accident with victims in Romania

A person died and another two remained blocked after a car and passenger minibus registered in Moldova collided in Tarzii village of Vaslui county of Romania on March 2. There were ten persons in the minibus and none of these was hurt, IPN has learned from the Vaslui County Police Inspectorate.

The victim found dead by the ambulance team was projected through the windscreen as a result of the collision. The same source said the first examinations showed the accident was caused by the minibus driver, Agerpres reported.

Spokeswoman for the Vaslui County Police Inspectorate Silvia Manta said the driver of the minibus asserted that a SUV car travelling in front braked suddenly and he thus decided to pull left so as to avoid the impact. When changing lanes, the minibus collided with a car coming from the opposite direction. Criminal cases were started over culpable homicide and causing of bodily injuries.

The investigation continues so as to establish all the circumstances of the accident.
