The Ministry of Justice has launched the E-bailiff concept to streamline as well as better monitor the work of court enforcement officers, announced Minister Oleg Efrim at an international conference dedicated to the bailiff service in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Minister said that the E-bailiff would be an information system that includes all the court enforcement officers' activities. One will be able to monitor those activities on-line and gain access to all public databases using electronic identification.
The system will also enable court enforcement officers to gain instant access to the debtor's account information, to information on movable and immovable assets from existing databases, including the cadaster register and the vehicles register, on the litigation procedures that the debtor undergoes, on the court decisions on those litigation procedures, and to the debtor's entire business activity profile. At the same time, the system will allow to monitor the court enforcement officers' activities and block those actions which may amount to procedural violations.
