Moldova will play against Georgia in summer

Though the Moldovan Football Federation negotiated for a possible friendly with Romania, an agreement was ultimately reached with the similar organization of Georgia, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the official website of the Moldovan Football Federation, the fixture will take place in Moldova on August 11, 2010. The place and hour when the encounter will start are not yet known. The program of the Group E fixtures of the 2012 European Championship qualifiers will be decided in Amsterdam on February 17. Moldova plays in a group with the Netherlands, Sweden,Finland,Hungary and San Marino. The qualification campaign starts in autumn. On March 3, Moldova's national team will play the first match of against the Kazakh squad in the Turkish town of Antalya. It will be also the first match under the guidance of the new Moldova manager, Romania's Gabi Balint.
