Moldovan boxers win 5 medals at European Student Championships

The Moldovan boxing team won 4 bronze medals and one silver at the European Student Boxing Championships that took place in Moscow, Russia. Victor Carapcevschi had the best performance, being one step away from the champion title in the 69kg category. In the final he lost on points to Poland's Tomasz Kot 12-9. The bronze medals went to Valeriu Cirma (49 kg), Dumitru Suhodolschi (52 kg), Violin Berzoi (64 kg) and Victor Cotiujanschi (75 kg). Other five boxers competed for Moldova as well, but they were eliminated from the first fights. This year's European Student Championships brought together 75 boxers from 15 countries.
