The agricultural producers and craftsmen of Moldova are invited to take part in the first Ecological Ethnical Gastronomic Festival “Ecogastroetnica” that will take place in Capriana village of Straseni district on August 9 and 10. The organizers said the event is aimed at supporting the national growers of ecologically pure fruit and vegetables given the difficult situation in which they found themselves as a result of the ban on the import of Moldovan fruit imposed by Russia.
In a news conference at IPN, one of the organizers of “Ecogastroetnica” Evdochia Ursu said the festival is a method of sporting the national producers that will be able to sell their goods during two days. All the guests and participants in the event will be able to taste national dishes made from ecologically pure fruit and vegetables and to enjoy the holiday atmosphere created by singers and artistic groups. The first ecological ethnic festival will bring to Capriana the largest pan, which is one meter in diameter. It will be used to prepare the tastiest pies before the eyes of the guests.
Evdochia Ursu informed that the agricultural producers who want to take part in the festival can phone 079480808 at any hour and the organizers will make sure that they enjoy the necessary conditions to exhibit their goods.
The participants can go to Capriana by minibuses running on the Chisinau-Capriana route, whose number will be increased on the occasion of the festival. From the entrance to the village, the guests will be transported to the center of the settlement by other minibuses. Those who will come by private cars will be able to park the vehicles in special places. Posters were put up on the national roads and at the entrance to the village, guiding the visitors to the place where the event is held, said Evdochia Ursu.
Entrance to the festival is free of charge.
