Moldovan tennis players climb in European rankings

The successes scored at the international tennis tournament Chisinau Open have promoted the Moldovan tennis players in the Tennis Europe Junior Tour rankings, which was published Thursday, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the age category under 16 years, Daniela Ciobanu jumped from the 199th spot to the 115th, Alina Soltanici from 216th to 128th, Iulia Sergheeva from 286th to 149th, and Veronica Smochin from 189th to 177. Chisinau Open's winner in this age category, Olga Terteac, made an impressive leap of 740 slots to the 416th. In men's, Maxim Dubarenco climbed 87 spots to 71st, and his colleage Eugen Celarschi from 276th to 171th.
