A charity program of the “Treasure life” Foundation from Romania, destined for mothers in difficulty, could be implemented in Moldova. A possible extension of the program was one of the topics discussed today, July 5, at a meeting between Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti and Romanian TV star Andreea Marin Banica, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the President’s Office.
The Mothers’ School program offers free legal and psychological assistance to mothers in the afterbirth period and to those sick of cancer. Romanian TV anchor Andreea Marin said that together with UNICEF she would promote other programs to identify and solve the problems of Moldovan mothers.
Nicolae Timofti promised he would support any charity campaign that helps people, especially mothers and children.
The “Treasure life” Foundation was created in 2008 and runs humanitarian campaigns with European funding, in partnership with Estuar Foundation, the Child’s Telephone Association, Hungarian Foundation JOL-LET, with the support of the UN Fund for Population.
