National Food Safety Agency has new director general

The Government named Iurie Carp, who is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies, as director general of the National Food Safety Agency. He earlier managed the Agency “Moldova-Vin”, which was liquidated, and SA Aroma and was vice director of the bakery SA Franzeluta, IPN reports.

By other Government decisions, Vasile Pintea was dismissed from the post of director of the Agency for Material Reserves, being replaced by Master of Law Oleg Melenciuc, who earlier served as the deputy head of the Chisinau local office of the State Chancellery. His last post was that of deputy head of the Ialoveni District Council.

Ex-Minister of Education and chief state advisor Leonid Bujor was appointed as deputy secretary of the Government, instead of Sergiu Palihovici, who was named Minister of the Environment in the new Cabinet.

Elena Beleacova was discharged from the post of head of the Bureau for Interethnic Relations. Ex-MP Oleg Babenco, who was the rector of the Slavonic University, was named instead of her. He holds the degree of Doctor.
