Among the possible causes of the parting are the financial problems faced by Nistru. A number of players have left the team this winter, while the training in Turkey was cancelled. Manager Vasile Traghira said the team will continue to exist despite the encountered problems. Nistru Otaci has been national vice champion three times and has won the bronze three times. It also won Moldova’s Cup, but suffered defeats in seven finals.
