Olimpus-85-USEFS eliminated from Cup Winners’ Cup

Moldova’s handball champion Olimpus-85-USEFS Chisinau lost to Macedonia’s HC Metalurg Skopje by 40-32 in the second-leg match of the Cup Winners’ Cup third preliminary round as well. Thus, the Moldovan team was eliminated from the competition, Info-Prim Neo reports. Before the break, Moldova were leading by 19-15, but did not manage to keep the advantage in the second half of the match. Olimpus-85-USEFS was the only representative of Moldova at the European Handball Championships this year.
