More than 100 billboards located on Stefan cel Mare şi Sfant Blvd in Chisinau were dismantled. According to the head of Centru district Oleg Poiata, about 70 billboards were taken away by the district head’s office, while the others by business entities, IPN reports.
In the June 6 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, Oleg Poiata said the remaining billboards will be dismantled next week.
The head of Centru district warned the business entities that placed kiosks along the boulevard to relocate them. If they do not comply, the district head’s office will start to take them away by force. The stairs of buildings that were extended illegally will also be dismantled.
The billboards are taken away from the main artery of Chisinau in connection with the works initiated to repair Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd.
