Palihovici renounces Chisinau councilor seat

Sergiu Palihovici is giving up his seat in the Chisinau City Council over the post of director of the State Chancellery's Chisinau Territorial Office. The withdrawal of his mandate was approved at City Council's meeting on Thursday. In his departure speech, Sergiu Palihovici stated the Municipality has still a lot of work to do so that the city's residents can see results. Palihovici was elected to the City Council on the Liberal-Democratic Party's ticket. He will be replaced by the next candidate in line on the ticket.
