Parliament speaker congratulates Moldovan Christians on occasion of Easter holidays

Speaker Marian Lupu congratulated all Moldovan Christians on the occasion of the Easter Holidays, on behalf of all legislators, on Friday, April 25, in the conclusion of the plenary sitting, Info-Prim Neo reports. Marian Lupu wished the Orthodox Christians “peace and prosperity in families and health.” The speaker also congratulated the MPs, the invitees and journalists. Moldova Nostra Alliance MP Leonid Bujor in the beginning of the sitting has said it is Good Friday when all the Christians shall ask to be forgiven from the ones they offended. The parliamentarian has said he was verbally attacked four times by Communist MPs during the last sitting. “I know of those statements will not have the courage to ask forgiveness. I do forgive them,” Bujor said, only to add: “I warn the Communist colleagues who’ll dare to attack me personally, that I will respond with examples of violations committed by every single Communist deputy”. And order not to “spoil the mood to the end of the sitting” to his colleagues, the AMN deputy left the sitting. The sitting lasted for an hour, during which the MPs passed the Law on preventing and combating corruption and ratified three accords, one of which is the Convention between the Government of Moldova and Cyprus on avoiding the double taxation and preventing the fiscal evasion concerning the income taxes.
