Parliament will work on Christmas

Speaker Marian Lupu issued an order according to which December 25, when Christmas is celebrated according to the Gregorian calendar, will be a working day with normal program for the MPs, even though the Government declared December 25 and 31 holidays for public employees, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The order reads that for the well-functioning of the Parliament and for the organization of the work and of the free time, taking note of the Government decision on December 19, December 25 is declared a working day and December 31 a day off.
Thus, the Parliament will work on December 25. The leadership and the secretariat of the Legislative will ensure its efficient activity, considering its busy agenda.
