Persons born before 1991 will get deposits back

The executive specified the groups of people whose deposits will be paid back, depending on the amount earmarked in the 2011 budget, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a Government Decision. A sum of 65 million lei was allocated this year for the purpose. As many as 51,200 depositors born before 1991 are expected to file applications to Banca de Economii get their money back. The deadline for applications is April 1. 47.1 million lei is needed to pay back the first 1,000 rubles according to the 1:1 ratio. 5.1 million lei is to be paid to the depositors who submitted applications, but did not receive the money in 2003- 2010 for different reasons.
