Six fans of the national football team of Moldova were arrested by the police during the September 6 encounter with Hungary for violating public order. They were fined and released. Spokesman for the General Police Commissariat Adrian Jovmir has told Info-Prim Neo that a 24-year-old fan from Chisinau municipality was arrested shortly after the match began. He threw a smoking torch towards the supporters of the Hungarian squad. A man aged 27 from Durlesti town was detained because he jumped the protection barrier and went onto the field, interrupting the game. The other four fans aged between 23 and 27 threw smoking torches from stand B of the second floor towards the first floor and on the field. Reports were drawn up against the six persons for hooliganism. The match was watched by about 10,000 spectators.
