Investigation officers annihilated a criminal group dealing with trafficking in synthetic drugs, especially heroine, in the capital city. The traffickers are held at the remand center of the Chisinau Police Division, IPN reports.
The group consisted of seven men and a woman aged between 25 and 33 who were all from Chisinau. During the arrest, the individuals put up resistance and tried to drive away by their cars.
When searching the cars and their domiciles, the police found doses of heroine ready for sale, syringes, pills with a psychotropic effect, marked banknotes obtained when selling drugs and other types of synthetic narcotics. All these were sealed up and sent to the forensic lab.
The suspects are investigated under arrest for putting large quantities of drugs into circulation. They face 7 to 15 years behind bars.
