Premier instructs ministers to take part in commemoration of traffic accident victims

The victims of road accidents will be commemorated on November 20. Prime Minister Vlad Filat ordered that the ministers and managers of governmental institutions take an active part in the festivities that will be organized by the Ministry of Health on this occasion, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Premier stressed it is important to make effort to prevent the traffic accidents as they result in deaths and persons injured. Among the priorities, he enumerated ensuring road safety and eliminating the factors that cause traffic accidents. More than 300 people were killed in the accidents that happened on the national roads so far this year. The victims of road accidents are commemorated on the third Sunday of November, according to a UN initiative of 2005.
