Prime Minister Vlad Filat will render a report on the implementation of the government program “European Integration: Freedom, Democracy, Welfare 2011-2014” last year in the April 27 meeting of the legislative body, Info-Prim Neo reports.
When presenting the program last January, Vlad Filat said that it ensured continuity in fulfilling the commitments made to the people and the foreign partners, while the major objectives of the program were to improve the living conditions and to integrate the country into the EU.
“In order to achieve these objectives, a series of measures will be taken to ensure the social protection of the people, develop the economy, strengthen the rule of law, establish relations with foreign partners, attract investments, and eliminate the visas so as to have better living conditions,” it is said in the program.
Under the program, the Government’s priorities are: the European integration, the country’s reunification, efficient and balanced foreign policy, the supremacy of the law, combating of poverty, public services of a high quality, sustainable economic growth, and decentralization of power.
The parliamentary majority gave a vote of confidence to the Government and accepted its program on January 14, 2011.
