The price explosion is not spontaneous and could not have been determined by the internal situation only. The price bomb is exploded from outside rather by political factors than the traders, considers political analyst Petru Bogatu. On his blog, Bogatu writes that the evolution of prices in Moldova is indirectly influenced by Moscow, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The expert considers that Russia is disappointed by the defeat in the fight for the formation of the center-left coalition in Moldova and, as a reaction, representatives of Russian state-run companies that run businesses in Moldova can anyway explode an economic bomb here.
“A sign was the glacial coldness of the Russian officials who did not hurry to congratulate Marian Lupu and Vlad Filat on their appointment as Head of Parliament and, respectively, Prime Minister, despite the international diplomatic practices,” says the politic analyst.
Petru Bogatu believes that the absence of reaction from the Kremlin to the reconstitution of the Alliance for European Integration aroused panic among Moldova’s businesses and this affected the market balance.
