The TV channels that are within Moldova’s jurisdiction will be obliged to ensure the interpretation of primetime news in sign language or to subtitle them. A decision to this effect was taken by the Broadcasting Coordination Council on July 25, IPN reports.
Until now, the TV channels were obliged to interpret in sign language at least one news bulletin daily, not necessary during prime time, which is between 5am and 9am and between 7pm and 10pm.
The decision takes effect when it is published in the Official Gazette.
