Products and equipment for cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets ware presented at “Moldexpo” within the sixth international exhibition “Shops & Restaurants”, IPN reports.
Olga Isacova, manager of a British plates and dishes company that has worked in Moldova for six years, said the restaurants are interested mainly in white plates, without ornaments, and in crystal glasses.
Sergiu Braghis, the representative of a Russian brand, presented an automated system for pouring alcoholic beverages into glasses. It is intended for bars.
Sales manager of a German company Cretu Dumitru said the products presented at the exhibition are made by order. The prices depend on the size and form. A pepper and salt mill costs 170 to 180 lei, while the mixers – around 900 lei.
Nadejda Fedorcea, manager of a company that exhibited kitchen tables and shelves from stainless steel, said their products are designed for restaurants and for other commercial units. A table costs over 10,000 lei, but at the exhibition it can be bought at a discount.
Vrancea Iulia, manager of a company that has supplied patisseries on the Moldovan market for 15 years, said the rye bread and the bread with cheese and apricots sold the best. The prices vary between 5 and 35 lei apiece.
Romanian cook Robert Voicu has taken part in the exhibition “Shops & Restaurants” in Chisinau for the first time. He came from Romania to promote his products and to extend his business into Moldova. He presented a wide range of patisserie products for all the meals of the day.
The exhibit continues until November 8.
