Raisa Botezatu resigns as Supreme Court of Justice judge

The judge of the Supreme Court of Justice Raisa Botezatu, who has held the post of president of the Court on an interim basis for three months, offered her resignation. Raisa Botezatu’s consultant Marina Corgoja confirmed the information for Info-Prim Neo. The resignation was tendered on October 4. The same day, the Constitutional Court ruled that the Parliament’s July 5 decision to dismiss Ion Muruianu from the post of president of the Supreme Court of Justice was unconstitutional. Raisa Botezatu was unavailable for comment.
