A man was sentenced to 18 years' imprisonment for violating his minor daughter during three years, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
The court of Falesti district established that from January 2006 until September 2009, the man had had sexual relations with his daughter, whom he threatened with physical harassment.
On January 30, 2008, the girl gave birth to a child from her father. After she gave birth, the man continued to rape her.
The mother of the girl knew what was happening, but did nothing as she was afraid of her husband.
The man aged 41 had earlier served a jail term.
