A 69-year-old woman, who fell into a six-meter-deep well situated in the yard of her house in Talmaza village, was saved by a team of rescuers from Ștefan Vodă, IPN reports.
The call to the Emergency Service was recorded on Wednesday evening, at 07:16 p.m. According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the level of water in the well was almost half a meter. It took the rescuers less than ten minutes to get the woman out, with the help of special equipment.
The woman was conscious when she was taken over by an ambulance and transported to the hospital for medical care.
For now, it is not known how exactly the old woman fell into the well. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
During the last 24 hours, the employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations dealt with 33 risk situations.
