The National Health Insurance Company allocated over 11.6 million lei from its reserve fund for paying salaries to resident physicians, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Company.

There were signed additional agreements to the contracts concluded in 2015 with 32 public medical-sanitary institutions of all the levels. The given agreements stipulate the sums needed annually for paying salaries to residents.

The covering of the costs related to the remuneration of resident physicians from the reserve fund of the Company is provided in the Law on Mandatory Health Insurance Funds for 2015.
